In an effort to promote an equitable climate in the tech industry, ACL Digital is sponsoring multiple scholarships toward tuition at Hackbright Academy to individuals who demonstrate a commitment to bringing diverse or underrepresented people together in the world of tech.
Scholarship criteria include:
awareness of diverse peoples
awareness of what diversity means and ways in which people can be diverse
appreciation for the value of diversity
displays a passion for involving diversity in the technology industry
tangible experience or goals related to bringing diverse people together with and within the technology industry

Scholarship recipients must apply for, and be accepted into, a Hackbright Academy program that begins within 120 days of notification of scholarship reward to use their scholarship.* View all eligibility requirements below.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must meet Hackbright Academy admissions requirements
- Must have applied to the Full-Time or Part-Time Software Engineering Program.
This scholarship may be used at any Hackbright Academy campus for any Hackbright program. Scholarship reward is not a guarantee of acceptance into a Hackbright program. Scholarship recipients must apply for, and be accepted into, a Hackbright program that begins within 120 days of notification of scholarship reward to use their scholarship—if a granted scholarship is not used within this time period, it will expire. Students will be notified of reward by email from a member of the Hackbright admissions team. Scholarship applicants must be at least 18 years old. Scholarships are non-transferrable and may be combined with other offers, up to, but not exceeding, the full tuition value of the program.
All scholarship applications will be reviewed by at least three members of the Hackbright Scholarship Selection committee, made up of members from various Hackbright departments. Each reviewing member will cast two votes for applications based on the candidates’ answers to the questions in the application form. The applicant receiving the most votes is will be sent to ACL Digital for final review and if approved, will be awarded the scholarship.
ACL Digital sponsored the scholarship and is allowing Hackbright to name scholarships after them. There is no relationship with the partner company beyond the naming and sponsoring of the scholarship.
