“I’m a very anxious person, and I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so there are times when it comes to like starting a project, I hesitate, because I’m so worried about starting the the thing because I know it’s not going to be perfect at the end because nothing’s perfect.”

“My advice to anyone who is starting Hackbright is just hang in there; don’t give up. Everyone is gonna feel nervous; everyone’s gonna be feeling the same sort of doubts that you will feel throughout the program.”

“It’s okay to not know. Just, keep an open mind and have a lot of fun because it’s not worth stressing over. They prepare you so well.”

“It was a huge change in my life and I’m so glad I did it. I love my job. I love the people I work with.”

“Like, I still keep in contact with my classmates. I still keep in contact with them, and I have a great job. I would totally do it again. I’m so much happier.”

“The learning environment and the material they teach you is so parallel to what you do at work. It really does mimic what’s going on out there in the real world.”

“One hundred percent, hands down, definitely do Hackbright Academy again. I think it’s been a life-changing experience for me, and I think it’s led to what I believe is the perfect job for me.”

“I honestly don’t think I would progress as far as I did if I was in any other program because the support that they have here: I can say, “Hey, I’m freaking out,” and people will come to me and be like, okay, like, what are you working on, like, what’s going on here?”

“It’s been life-changing to enter this field and meet so many incredible people. You got yourself this far; you made the choice to start on this career path so just, like, go full steam ahead and and have confidence that you have what it takes to become an engineer.”
