At Hackbright, we know that there are a lot of tech companies in the Bay Area so coming up with twenty isn’t hard, however, it is hard to only pick twenty. But, since all lists have to stop somewhere, and twenty seemed like a good number, here are Hackbright’s top twenty tech companies in the Bay Area (in no particular order). Also note, we have no formal partnership with these companies.

Twitter is a social media giant and microblogging platform that’s headquartered on Market Street in San Francisco. It serves users worldwide through its website and application software. It is probably best known for being a place to follow, see, and interact with celebrities and news.
Airbnb is a lodging broker and tourism experience company that is headquartered in San Francisco on Brannan Street. It provides real estate owners with a way to rent out space to tourists in exchange for commissions. It is probably best known for creating travel opportunities.
