You probably already know her from name alone, but did you know that co-founder and co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also has her own company to help support women in tech? Gates founded Pivotal Ventures with the goal on investing in female entrepreneurs. Watch her segment with CNBC to learn why she felt it was important to start a female-focused VC, how she’s hoping to see the gender ratio in tech improve, and what else she’s working on.
