Years ago, Meggie soul-searchingly parted with studies in social cognition and feminist theory to become a software engineer. After spending time as an internal tools software engineer, she is now the Senior Director of Education at Hackbright.

After receiving his Physics PhD from Harvard, he joined and co-founded a startup, where he learned to program. He has worked as a data scientist and software engineer for several years. Henry is a former mentor at Hackbright and had so much fun that he decided to do it full-time!

Seema studied Applied Mathematics at UCLA and computer science at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Being a Hackbright instructor combines two things that bring her joy: teaching and programming. Seema has been a mentor at Hackbright since she moved to San Francisco and she’s extremely passionate about improving diversity in technology.

Rachel graduated with a BA in Political Philosophy, but derailed a law-bound path to pursue her love for technology. After working in various tech roles in the Bay Area and finding herself wanting more, she took a leap, enrolled in Hackbright's Fellowship, and started working as a Software Engineer. Since then, she has been involved in other women's coding journeys and is excited to join Hackbright Prep as an Instructor.

Before Hackbright, she worked at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business providing academic and student support to MBA students. Prior to that she provided career coaching to graduate STEM students at NYU and is excited to join Hackbright to coach women in tech.
