CodeHer East Bay Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria Rules

Good news! In partnership with the Kapor Center, Hackbright is awarding two $8000 scholarships to two women for the Full-Time Software Engineering Program in the East Bay. Scholarships applicants will be evaluated based on a technical work sample and performance on the technical interview.

The technical work sample can be a final assignment from a previous class, a personal side project, your Hackbright Prep final project, or something that you create specifically for this scholarship application. We are looking for projects that exemplify your technical ability, work ethic, and commitment to software engineering.

It is the mission of Hackbright to #changetheratio of women in tech. Since 2012, Hackbright Academy has graduated 700+ women with the skills to be software engineers, and our goal is to train more women faster. If you’ve wanted to transition into software engineering, now is the time.

This scholarship accepts applications on a rolling admissions basis.

Upcoming Session Dates

  • June 18 – September 7, 2018 (East Bay)
